I had several problems with my BlackBerry service. It started with our BES server not functioning properly (and I’m over 200 miles away from the office and it’s a Sunday and it’s a Holiday weekend). After several calls to Verizon and Research In Motion, that problem has been resolved. The problems ended with the following error while trying to access the browser:
“Your device does not currently have any browser configuration service book entries”
I can’t post my solution to the first problem, but this is what I found after several searches to fix the second problem:
Go to OPTIONS
Go to ADVANCED OPTIONS
Go to HOST ROUTING TABLE
CLICK your trackwheel
CLICK on REGISTER NOW
Wait about 60 seconds or restart your phone to see the browser reappear.
This worked for me, if you are having the same problem, I hope it works for you too.

Rework
I was listening to net@night 142 where Leo and Sarah interviewed Fried and DHH of 37signals about their new book. I knew I had to get a copy that day. Then I couldn’t put it down. I needed the “fire the workaholic chapter” more than anything. Check out DHH and Jason C. on TWIST, it’s a great debate that DHH wins hands down.
Rework gives you what you need in the time that needs to be devoted to a business book. Rework is a short book that you devour quickly. Then you hit the ground running and focus your time where it needs to be, on making a profit. Run a business the way it should be, not the way the lucky few did.
I disagree with DHH about his best idea. I don’t believe 37signals is it, this book was. Everyone that works can get ahead by reading this book. It isn’t just for those that are starting a business.
